Children are provided with a range of experiences that give them the opportunity to explore their environments allowing them to continuously learn and discover new things.
Some examples of activities that the child at this developmental stage should be doing
Says words like ‘dada’ or ‘mama’
Waves goodbye
Sits without support
Stands up by pulling themself using furniture
Shows signs of anxiety or stress if parent goes away
